Hi,
Water based paints are newer on the market, dry quicker, omit less odours, don’t yellow over time, are more user friendly, better for the environment and the brushes/ rollers are easier to clean.
Oil/ solvent based paints are generally favoured by decorators who have been in the trade for a while as it’s tried and tested and they find they have a better appearance and can tolerate varying weather conditions better.
